We were a group of 14 divers at Atalaia. As we booked the dives with a local guide, we were divided into small buddy teams and therefore had great supervision. Underwater, all the guides went out of their way to show us lots of things. Our hotel was directly adjacent to the dive center, so the distances were short and we were able to spend the surface interval in a relaxed manner. The team at the Atalai dive center is very professional and works to a high standard. The base is well maintained and clean. The staff are helpful, courteous and always friendly.
